I must respectfully disagree.  The majority of youth hockey games in the US
are called with a 2 official system, where the officals are BOTH referee and
Linesman.  They are responsible for calling lines as well as penalties.
All of the regular season High School hockey here is 2-man, as well.  The
local adult league is the same.  If I remember correctly, D3 games here are
the same (Skidmore College).
 
OCHC: Looking at the most recent RPICH, RPI is currently listed 40(?)th.
Would the NCAA still give them a berth as host team for the regionals
if they finished the season like this?  Would Union get the nod if they
were better?  Would there not be a "local" host team?
