Going Mike one better, I originally got NESN just for the 7 or 8 BU
games they telecast a season. Since then I have come to enjoy
watching many of their other telecasts which do not feature BU. My
biggest problenm is that I go to virtually every BU game, home or
away, so I am not able to watch many games on NESN live.
As for Bob and Bob, Bob Kurtz, he is no Sean McDonough. That said,
he is still quite good, although I personally think he is pro-Maine
and anti-BU. It may not be true, but I can point out several
instances. mostly in Maine-BU games, which would seem to bear this
out.
Bob Norton usually does a good job at being neutral, even though he
does not hide his pro-UNH bias. I even think that at times he goes
to far the otherway when he does a UNH game. The major exception I
find to this is when BU plays UNH. BU's tremendous success makes it
very had for any fan of other eastern teams to be unbiased when it
comes to the Terriers.
