I apologize in advance.  I misplaced my notes that had this info so
     I'll have to try to do it from memory.
 
     Dan Tompkins, who would have been a junior for the Badgers will not be
     back next year.  Coach Sauer is not expecting him back, and thinks
     that he will sign a contract with Calgary soon.  Dan is currently
     playing in the Olympic Festival.
 
     A player from Riga, Latvia has signed a letter of intent to play for
     the Badgers, (sorry so sketchy).
 
     Coach Sauer has extended a partial scholarship to a goalie.  I won't
     offend anyone by trying to spell the name and getting it wrong, but
     the article said that he is the son of the RPI coach.
