BAUER/CCHA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Mike Knuble, a senior right wing from
the University of Michigan, has been selected the Bauer/CCHA Offensive Player
of the Week for his performance on March 25, 1995.  He played junior hockey for
the Kalamazoo Junior K-Wings of the North American Junior Hockey League
 
Knuble, a 6-2, 224-pound native of Caledonia, Michigan, had three points (two
goals, one assist) in the Wolverines 4-3 win at Wisconsin.  He recorded his
10th first goal of the season when he opened the scoring.  After UW tied the
game, Knuble set-up Robb Gordon for a go-ahead goal.  In the third period with
the score knotted at three, he tallied his eighth game-winning goal of the
season.  Knuble was a 1991 draft selection of the Detroit Red Wings.
 
COOPER/CCHA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Steven Halko, a junior defenseman
from the University of Michigan, has been selected the Cooper/CCHA Defensive
Player of the Week for his performance on March 25, 1995.  He played junior
hockey for the Thornhill (Ontario) Thunderbirds and was drafted by the Hartford
Whalers in the 1992 National Hockey League entry draft.
 
Halko, a 6-1, 199-pound native of Bolton, Ontario, had a plus/minus rating of
plus 3 in the Wolverines win over Wisconsin Saturday.  He was on the ice for
the first three Michigan goals and raised his season's plus/minus to +30.
