Dartmouth beat Yale at Thompson Arena last nite 7-4.
The Big Green had a 6-1 lead before Yale scored three straight to make the
Dartmouth coaches up in the pressbox pull a few hairs.
As Bob Gross said, Dartmouth's five seniors were honored before the game,
although only four of them dressed, and then all four proceeded to score.

The Big Green opened up quick with three goals in the first 13 minutes.
Patrick Turcotte(senior), Trevor Dodman(senior) and Mike Stacchi(senior) all
scored on shellshocked Bulldogs netminder Todd Sullivan to give Dartmouth a 3-0
lead.

Yale's Andy Weidenbach broke the momentum for a bit with a goal to make it 3-1,
but Turcotte tallied again to give the Big Green a 4-1 advantage after 1.

In the second, Dartmouth made it 6-1 on two powerplay goals, by Dion Del Monte
(senior) and Bill Kelleher (sorry, only a junior).

Then Yale reeled off three straight. Zoran Kozic scored in the last couple of
minutes of the second to make it 6-2. Then Yale scored two more within the
first four minutes of the third (goals by Jason Cipolla and Dan Nyberg) to make
it 6-4.

But Dartmouth tightened the D, Stacchi added another goal to make it 7-4 and
preserve the Big Green win.

The Big Green play Princeton today (or already have played them, depending on
when you get this).
Bring your tennis balls!!
