Clarkson returns from its less than successful trip to Kalamazoo, MI
with a pair of weekend home games against the Capital District teams.

On Friday, the Knights play highly ranked RPI. The Engineers were upset
in their season opener against Merrimack but came back to beat then-#2 BU
the next week. The Knights will HAVE to get on the board early because
RPI goalie Neil Little will be tough. The Knights have falled behind by
2 goals early in all 3 of their games. Goalie Jason Currie will need to
be sharp in nets as he will probably be facing a lot of shots. Clarksons
powerplay must improve from it's dismal showing (0 for 10 in one game)
at Western) in its first three games but their penalty killing has been
nothing short of spectacular.

On Saturday, Clarkson hosts the Union Dutchmen. Union has gone 6-43-1
(or something like that) in its first two Division I seasons but they
played the Knights tough last December in Schenectady (Clarkson won 5-2).

Game times are 7:30 tonight and 7 on Saturday.

(for any other Techers out there, Clarkson's soccer team hosts Rowan
College at noon on Saturday in the D-III NCAA quarterfinals)
