For all Detroit Jr. Red Wings fans:
 
Detroit signed Bowling Green State University goalie Aaron Ellis this week.
Ellis, a 1992 Quebec draft pick and Culver Military Academy graduate was the
CCHA's all rookie team goalie, and seventh in the CCHA in GAA with 3.7GAA with
a 14-10-1 record . He played in the Olympic Festival this summer and was a
subsequent selection to the U.S. World Jr.team camp. He came to BGSU as a
recruited walk-on; he has now left because he was not given a full scholarship.
