Four exciting games in HE this evening!

Maine 4, at Merrimack 2
Nope, not 14-2, 4-2. :-) The shocker I referred to in the subject line
was that Merrimack outhit and outhustled the Black Bears for much of the
game, and even generated more quality chances over the last half of the
game (and outscored Maine in that stretch, 2-1). Only a superb
performance by Mike Dunham allowed Maine to escape with the win, as it
was literally all Merrimack in the third period. Box & details to come.
Largest crowd at Merrimack since 1988 gave both teams a round of applause
  for an extremely entertaining game.
at BC 4, PC 3
Huge win by Eagles gets them within two points of clinching 6th (if
Merrimack loses to Maine Saturday). Eagles are tied with MC for 6th but
  they win tiebreaker over Warriors.
BU 4, at NU 3 (ot)
NU needs at least 3 points in final two games and hopes MC gets none, to
  avoid going to Maine.
UNH 2, at UMass-Lowell 2 (ot)
Just confuses things even more. :-)

Standings after tonight, all teams have 2 games left except Maine & BC
which have 3 since they play each other Tuesday:

1 Maine 19-1-1 39
2 BU 16-5-1 31
3 UNH 10-10-2 22
  PC 10-10-2 22
5 UML 10-11-1 21
6 BC 6-13-2 14
  MC 7-15-0 14
8 NU 5-16-1 11
