Clarkson defeated Yale in a hard fought game in front 3100 maniacs
in Potsdam. It may well have been the loudest and most racous crowd
of the year (save PERHAPS the St lawrence game).

Things started off bleak for Knights fans as
Yale scored just 7 seconds into the game (I didnt even know the game
had started). Yale then scored a PPG about 5 minutes into the game
on like the 5th of 5 straight powerplays to go up 2-0. Then Clarkson
scored 2 goals to tie it up after the 1st period. Clarkson went up
3-2 and then Conroy fed a long pass to Palmer who did a good job receiving
a bouncing pass and schooled Yale goalie Sullivan for a Shorthanded goal.
to go up 4-2. Clarkson made it 5-2. There was little scoring for most of
the third but Yale made it 5-3 with about 6 minutes left and then 5-4
with about 1:15. They put on tons of pressure but Rogles played GREAT
in the last minute and then finally with about :15 left, Robitaille
was fed and scored an ENG to make it 6-4. Conroy scored with like :05
left to cinch the 7-4 win.

Clarkson took a lot of penalties (something like 6 in the first
period) but Yale's #2 in the nation power play was only able to
convert on 1 of 6 in the first two periods (i dont know about the
third).

Clarkson led in shots something like 32-25.

Princeton and Yale were tied at 2-2 in canton and in what might
be the upset of the year Dartmouth was up 4-2 on Hahvahd in the 3rd

Clarkson goes to 10-6-3 in the ECAC and 14-9-4 overall while
Yale falls to 11-6-2 in the ECAC and 14-10-2. Clarkson moves to
within one point of the third place Bulldogs.

Box tommorow.

7 wins in last 8 games for Clarkson. LET'S GO TECH!
