I say, "Go for it!"
Make sure it's held in different regions each year (one year in the midwest
one year in the east...perhaps even in Colorado once in a while).

Why? I never get to see any western teams. NEVER. Clarkson's non-league
games are all against Hockey East teams. I have never had the opportunity
to see anyone from the Minnesotas, Wisconsins, Michigans and so forth.
I'm sure most other eastern schools are the same way. I think it would be
a good idea to have an all-star game..maybe even ESPN could televise it
(god forbid they would give us any exposure). I would be much more interested
in an all-star game featuring the nation's top players than a boring
non-league tournament game against providence or army.

this account will be vacated from 12/19 until 1/14...any regular postings
from me will be discontinued for that time and email won't be answered
(more than likely).
