Just a quick question, and please correct me if my facts are wrong:
 
The 1992 team, which was "accused" of being eastern-heavy, finished in 4th
place. I also believe that the 1980 team had a lot of easterners.
 
The 1984 and 1988 teams were western=heavy and each finished in seventh
place.
 
Hmm...
 
(Im not trying to start an east v west war and I dont claim that my
 facts are 100% straight but...)
