The BU-NoDak ref was CCHA's Matt Shegos, whose name was announced over the PA during the introductions.  I can only assume that the omission of name tags is just another example of the NC$$'s policy of glasnost and  perestroika.

Okay, I only saw the East Regional games, what was the deal with the
officials NOT having their names on the back of their uniforms?

Was this the case in the NorthEast Regional too?

The Ref in the BU-North Dakota game looked like CCHA's Piotrowski, but I
couldn't be sure.

Any insight on this?
