hmm. must be a different schedule.. and I think you overlook the part that
most cornell fans think is important..
1) they tied and lost to MSU on the road early but they also only allowed 3
total goals
2) they didnt play bowling green or OSu this year
3) they beat Maine and lost to BC who are in the tourney after a 4 week
layoff and played the game
in FL.. in the BC game once cornell got it rolling they outshot them 26-12
the last 2 periods but got 2 PP goals and an empty netter to pull it out

since that loss and then beating Maine they have a 1-0 loss to harvard and
a TIE and havent allowed more than 2 goals.. put CC or Den in the ECAC and
there is no way with those mistake prone defenses they have that record
either..

this is one and out.. I think given 2-3 weeks to figure out the style
changes Cornell would do pretty well in the WCHA but in 1 and done all it
takes is one bad game.. Minn had 10 bad games out of 20 and still got a top
4 seed take away 4-5 OC games early and play a ECAC OC schedule and they
don't even make the tournament..

>Every time we turn around Cornell fans are lecturing us about over looking

>Lets review Cornell's season they lost and tied MSU (not in the playoffs),
>tied Bowling Green (a middle of the road CCHA team not in the playoffs),
>then beat OSU (wow impressive) and Notre Dame in the Ever Glades tourney. I
>am not saying Cornell is a bad team, they just aren't a great team out side
>of the weaker AHA or the ECAC. Beating up on the ECAC teams isn't as
>impressive as beating WCHA, HEA or CCHA teams by any shape of the
>imagination. Cornell has only beaten one team in the top 15 that wasn't a
>ECAC team. So no maybe he isn't over looking Cornell.
