An Olympic size rink does not less clutching and grabbing make, at least
according to reported comments by Joe Thornton who is playing in Europe for a
Swiss team.  He was quoted in the Boston Globe last week as saying that  there
he is being held and grabbed more in European competition than  he has been in
the NHL.  We more that big Joe has been very outspoken on  this subject over
the years and has run afoul of league officials when he has  taken matters into
his own hand and adminstered some "ice justice."
