That is the 5th Consecutive Sellout
It would be nice if the software put in spaces after the colons.
Note to self: either try to remember to fix that before
mailing or have the software do it.

The delay caused by hat pick up was so extended, several of us
never even noticed that all the hats caused mankato to change
        goalies.
Note to self: when arriving at the arena tonight, see it hey
saved them and, if so, see if one fits.

        and then you are free
Only here it was free to resume the agitation that occurred 2
minutes prior. The astute reader will recognize that it took
7 seconds to escalate to the point where play was stopped.
The game was not only over, but well out of control at this
        point.

Given that MSU wasn't going to score 7 goals in the next 1:01,
it was a pretty safe bet that there wouldn't be an overtime so
both players were escorted to their respective dressing rooms.

That the game was out of control became clear to everybody less
than a minute later when tiger defender james laux was being
whistled for a cross check (that I didn't see) and the scrum
began. Most of what you see below are the matching penalties
for scrum participation. Those that are not are separately
annotated. Anyhow, everybody on the ice participated and when
all was said and done, there were 5 players from each team in
the box. That was followed by caravans of 5 to the dressing
room, first the visitors and then the tigers.
                P25. MSU-14 Ryan McKelvie (2-ROUGHING)................... 19:48
                P26. MSU-15 Ryan McKelvie (2-ROUGHING)................... 19:48
                P27. MSU-16 Ryan McKelvie (10-10-MINUTE MISCONDUCT)...... 19:48
                P28. MSU-17 Brock Becker (2-ROUGHING).................... 19:48
                P29. MSU-18 Brock Becker (2-ROUGHING).................... 19:48
                P30. MSU-19 Brock Becker (10-10-MINUTE MISCONDUCT)....... 19:48
                P31. MSU-20 Steven Johns (2-ROUGHING).................... 19:48
                P32. MSU-21 Steven Johns (2-ROUGHING).................... 19:48
                P33. MSU-22 Steven Johns (10-10-MINUTE MISCONDUCT)....... 19:48
                P34. MSU-23 Matt Paluczak (2-ROUGHING)................... 19:48
                P35. MSU-24 Matt Paluczak (2-ROUGHING)................... 19:48
                P36. MSU-25 Matt Paluczak (10-10-MINUTE MISCONDUCT)...... 19:48
                P37. MSU-26 Jon Hart (2-ROUGHING)........................ 19:48
                P38. MSU-27 Jon Hart (2-ROUGHING)........................ 19:48
                P39. MSU-28 Jon Hart (10-10-MINUTE MISCONDUCT)........... 19:48
                P40. MSU-29 Jake Brenk (5-Leaving the Bench)............. 19:48
                P41. MSU-30 Jake Brenk (10-Game Disqualification)........ 19:48
        DUMB DUMB DUMB
and dumber actually. There was very little participation in
the scrum. Certainly not enough to cause the officials to
escalate the penalty above the mandatory 15 plus a sit out
                P42. CC-12 Aaron Slattengren (2-ROUGHING)................ 19:48
                P43. CC-13 Aaron Slattengren (2-ROUGHING)................ 19:48
                P44. CC-14 Aaron Slattengren (10-10-MINUTE MISCONDUCT)... 19:48
                P45. CC-15 Reid Goolsby (2-ROUGHING)..................... 19:48
                P46. CC-16 Reid Goolsby (2-ROUGHING)..................... 19:48
                P47. CC-27 Reid Goolsby (10-10-MINUTE MISCONDUCT)........ 19:48
                P48. CC-18 Richard Petiot (2-ROUGHING)................... 19:48
                P49. CC-19 Richard Petiot (2-ROUGHING)................... 19:48
                P50. CC-20 Richard Petiot (10-10-MINUTE MISCONDUCT)...... 19:48
                P51. CC-21 Joey Crabb (2-ROUGHING)....................... 19:48
                P52. CC-22 Joey Crabb (2-ROUGHING)....................... 19:48
                P53. CC-23 Joey Crabb (10-10-MINUTE MISCONDUCT).......... 19:48
                P54. CC-24 James Laux (2-ROUGHING)....................... 19:48
                P55. CC-25 James Laux (2-ROUGHING)....................... 19:48
                P56. CC-26 James Laux (2-CROSS-CHECKING)................. 19:48
that is the extra 2 for the cross check.
                P57. CC-27 James Laux (10-10-MINUTE MISCONDUCT).......... 19:48
the teams finished the last 12 seconds 4 on 4 as the major and
minor did not cancel one another. That was a good thing
because that meant that there were almost enough officials to
get between player should the need arise.

        Win-Curtis McElhinney (19-4-5). Loss-Jon Volp (7-2-2).
        Game-Winning Goal: CC-Brett Sterling
