Maine has announced that it will do a search for a head coach after
this season. (U Maine policies require a formal, national search).  I'm
pretty sure the search committee has yet to be formed.

I would think that Interim Head Coach Whitehead would be looked at
quite favorably and seriously by that committee.  Were they available
and interested in a career at Maine, I would think Guy Perron and Jeff
Jackson would be excellent candidates, as well.

First things first?!  Go Maine; maul those Terriers!  ;-)
