just picking nits here, but the plan is, as i understood it, to have
the top 4 teams host the regionals, not to require the top 4 teams to
stage the regionals on their campus venues.

a couple of years ago, UAA (anchorage) hosted the NCAA championships
in Los Angeles.  It would seem to me that it might be a winner for a
school to host a regional off campus (or even at a town othere that
where the campus is)
