Gophers shut out Badgers!

The Minnesota Gophers shut out the Wisconsin Badgers this
evening in Minneapolis  4 - 0.

All the scoring was in the third period.  THe Gophers outshot
the Badgers approx 2-1.

Great skating and pressure by the Gophers!  I was disappointed
in the Badgers losing their composure in the third period.

Goddard was the referee, and after two periods of calling
just a few penalties, was forced in the third to call quite a
few penalties to avoid a major confrontation between the
teams!

Can't wait for the rematch tomorrow night!
