Gophers freshman goaltender Adam Hauser was named WCHA rookie of the
week
monday for his role in a weekend sweep of Wisconsin. Hauser, starting
back-to-back
games for the first time this season, stopped 48 of 52 shots he faced in
the Gophers' 3-2
victories Friday and Saturday. Hauser has won his last four starts and
is second in the
WCHA in goals-against average (1.25) and saves percentage (.947).

Denver left wing James Patterson was named the league's offensive player
of the
week after picking up two goals and two assists in the Pioneers' sweep
at Michigan Tech.
Sioux goaltender Karl Goehring was named defensive player of the week
with a 61-save
performance in the sweep against UMD.
