I must add my vote to those recalling the amazing CC vs. Wisconsin game just
last year.  Combining the incredible goaltending, numerous excellent chances
in overtime, half-dozen or more clanging pipes, delirious fans, playoff
intensity and the late hour made for a practically surreal scene when
Tanberg finally ended the longest game in NCAA Men's Hockey history.  It was
simply amazing to be a part of this historical contest.  I'll never forget
Sauer just walking (perhaps sulking) off the ice without stopping to shake
hands with the victors or consoling his own team.
