After reading the latest reincarnation of the thread about throwing things
on the ice, it almost makes me yearn for the "nyah, nyah my team's better
than yours in the poll" posts...

Something to add to my Generic Summer Posting item for July...

BTW, Maine never developed a "tradition" of throwing things on the ice.
(Imagine how easy it would be now with the balcony looming over the one end
of Alfond Arena) How many other schools out there are considerate and
exercise a bit of restraint by not doing so ?

I agree on the Maine / Michigan game in Providence being the best game ever.

Let's start this one --- who do you expect the Final Four to be, based upon
not 1-4 in the polls, but who you think will make it through the possible
tournament seedings. Here's my vote:

North Dakota - Michigan State - Boston College - and (gasp) New Hampshire

Dan Doucette
UMaine 78 MPA 80

*** should be kept with the big club in Boston ***
*** Is there anyone better now with Providence ?? ***
