NCAA Tickets on Sale
 
        Tickets for the 1998 NCAA Division I Men's Hockey East Regional
went on sale on Monday, November 17.  The Regional, which will be held
Saturday and Sunday, March 28 and 29 at the Pepsi Arena in Albany, is
being hosted jointly by Rensselaer and the Pepsi Arena.  The games are 1
and 4:30 pm on Saturday and 2 and 5:30 pm on Sunday.
 
        Individual game tickets may not be purchased.  Instead,
all-session tickets can be purchased which permit entry into the arena for
all four games.  All-seesion passes will be available at the Pepsi Arena
Box Office, all Ticketmaster charge-by-phone at 518-476-1000.  For event
information, patrons can call 518-487-2000.
 
ECAC Tickets for Sale
 
        The New York Olympic Regional Development Authority in Lake Placid
has announced that tickets are now officially on sale for the ECAC
Championships, March 19-21.   Tickets for all five games can be purchased
for just $40.  All orders can be placed by calling (800) 462-6236 or (518)
523-1655.  The new Lake Placid Final Five format will begin on Thursday
with the two lowest remaining seeds squaring off at 7:30 pm for the right
to face the top remaining seed on Friday.  The second and third seeds will
also faceoff on Friday.  Game times on Friday are at 4:00 and 7:00 pm.
Saturdays action will kick off with the consolation game at 1:00 pm and
the championship at 4:00 pm.  The semifinals and championships will been
seen live on both Empire Sports Network and New England Sports Network.
