If the media has a problem with referring to Boston University as anything
other than 'Boston', maybe they should consider "Terriers". As a general rule
of thumb, it should be "Boston University", "BU" or "the Terriers", but never
"Boston" or "Boston U" That sounds awkward..it would be like referring to
RPI as something like "Rensselaer Poly" It just sounds terrible!
