This has been a sore spot with the me for the last few years. As Mike said,
during the final four two years ago people were calling BU "Boston", so last
year when BU made it to the final four again, I called ESPN and told them
the proper way of refering to Boston University was either "BU" or "Boston
University", and NOT BOSTON as they had done the previous year. I also told
them that folks from BU cringed every time they heard the team called just
Boston.

So what did the ESPN announceres do? They called the team "Boston U" through-
out the entire final four. I think that was even worse.

The moral of this story is, don't try to help announcers, their a lost cause!
