There is no need for Adam to apologize to me. We've had a difference of
opinion, that's all. Everybody gets angry at times.
 
Can we ever resolve that difference, though? It's obvious that we aren't
going to change our views very much. A duel is out of the question. I'm not
into chivalry, I hate the sight of blood, and, besides, I'm basically a
pacifist. Since we're hockey people, why not settle it on the ice!
I'd like to challenge Adam Wodon and Mike Machnik for a two-on-two
hockey game against Martin Small and me. Known for his impartiality,
Geoff Howell could serve as the referee. Also known for his fairness,
Richard Hungerford could be the announcer. (But careful! Although he hails
from Harvard, Richard is a closet Brown fan.) Wayne Smith would be the
perfect statistician.
 
And I'm sure that Mike Flynn's mother and my friends on the Eulers would
provide a great cheering section.
