I agree wholeheartedly.
 
Personally, I was crushed when the ECAC pulled out of Boston for it's
tournament. I understand the geography involved for a majority of the
ECAC teams, but as Mike had mentioned earlier - HE playing at the Fleet
center would increase HE exposure and benefit the league, and I think
the same holds true for the ECAC.
 
If HE is indeed thinking of pulling out the Fleet, I would love to see
them talk to the ECAC about a HockeyFest concept again. Being a college
hockey fan, it would be great to see alternating ECAC / HE matchups.
 
Given the chance of a HockeyFest concept of less than 1 in 1000000, if nothing
else, please lets see the ECAC and HE increase the regular season matchups between the leagues. Perhaps if Clarkson / Cornell and Lowell had more common
opponents, it would make tournament selection time that much more
interesting.
 
PS Before all the New Yorkers jump on me, I really can't blame anyone for
wanting the tournament in Lake Placid or Albany, I would just love to
see a return to the garden / Fleet.
