Let's not forget that just a few weeks ago, Air Force tied Lowell twice.
And Lowell beat RPI just before going to Air Force...and has only lost one
game so far (6-1-2).
 
Sometimes these things happen.  I have seen AF play very competitively
before, and obviously they did so against Lowell.  Maybe the teams just
didn't match up very well.  I was certainly surprised at the results.
 
Tuesday's game will be interesting.  Both Merrimack and RPI come in on
(short) winning streaks after bad starts.  But Merrimack has had the more
impressive wins.  With defense and goaltending being critical to both
teams' success, the team that plays better in those areas will probably
win.
