While working on the previous post I got to wondering about the 1990
Select 16 team, which in December of that year played in the World Select 16
Tournament held in Boston at the rinks of the four Beanpot schools. So I dug
up my program and found a slew of familiar names. Most of the
then-16-year-olds --- all of whom will have turned 21 during this calendar
year -- are playing Division I hockey now. The results are below, and pretty
much speak for themselves. I've followed each player's name with the team he
was playing with the winter he appeared with the select 16's, the team he's
with now (if a college team, I've included the class the player will be
entering next month) and finally the NHL team that owns the player's rights,
and the round in which he was drafted. I didn't bother with the year --
all were either '92 or '93.

??? -- I have no idea what happened to Maurice Hall, Jerry Burlison, and
Matt Hanaman after their season with the Select 16 team. But I recall
seeing Hall's name on some roster since then. Anyone know anything?
The other two mystery men are Jeff Connolly, formerly of St. Sebastian's
Country Day and Boston College, and Jeff Antonovich of Coleraine, Minnesota.
However, last season, a Jeff Connolly played nine games for the Seattle
Thunderbirds (WHL), and a Jeff Antonovich played one game for the Kamloops
Blazers (also WHL). I'm assuming these are the same guys, but I'd like
confirmation -- or a correction -- if anyone out there can supply it.
