BU wins the Hockey East final in the last college game at Boston Garden
3-2 over Providence in a game in which Providence duplicated Friday's
performance against Maine, giving BU all they could handle, but this time
coming up short.
 
I will leave to the live witnesses a full account but you can be sure
there are at least two happy campers up here in Edmonton.  My significant
other suffered through the tense last few minutes with me and came close
to tears thinking we would never again occupy seats in the Garden
cheering as BU carried around a trophy, be it ECAC (from days gone by)
Hockey East or Beanpot.
