In a non-conference game, Maine stormed back from a 2-0 deficit early to
score 5 straight goals before UNH would put in a useless one late to win
5-3.
Without going into too much detail, I will just say that the key goal of the
game (MAJOR turning point) was a Maine short-handed goal scored by Jeff Tory.
Maine, behind 2-1 and short-handed at the time, pressed agressively and got
a 3-on-2 (risking a 3-on-1 the other way) before UNH goalie Heinke dove to
try to break up the play but Tory put it home.
On TV, it appeared to really kill UNH and pump up Maine. Although the score
was only tied, it was game. Win for Maine.

PS - In other action, Providence killed Lowell 7-0 and BC beat Merrimack 6-4.
