Your points re: stupid penalties summarizes a longstanding problem with
this team.  You almost had to think that Harvard knew this and intentionally
antagonized RPI in the first period.  In all honesty, I think that Rob
Hearn should have sent off Harvard's Martin as well for intentionally and
blatantly giving Tamburro the snow-job.  The rest of the game showed how
well this team CAN play.  They had many opportunities to tie the game but
couldn't cash in due to posts and crossbars and the like.  All in all it
was an honest effort by the Engineers (for how long will we be able to
call them that?)  The Brown game the next night was a better statement
on how good this team can be if they come out playing with emotion.
The way they just absolutely controlled Brown after giving up an early
power play goal was fun to watch.  For a change, during the periods of
play that Brown controlled the puck, all the bounces went  OUR way with
the puck just managing to avoid the net.
