A team masquerading as the Falcons again failed to show up
against Lake Superior, losing Saturday 8-2. At least Will
Clarke was there, stopping 45 shots.
 
But no matter how bad things seem for BG, at least they
are still in 2nd place in the league, since Miami shut out
MSU 1-0. BG and Miami are tied on points, but BG has two
games in hand and wins the tiebreaker. The Spartans fall
to 4th, two points behind both teams, but they lose the
tiebreaker to both BG & MU. LSSU is not far behind the
Spartans now.
 
Also, Notre Dame swept OSU. Michigan and UIC were tied
in the second, so if U of M can pull it off, all 4 series
will be sweeps.
