For everyone living near Boston, this weekend the Husky Invitational at
Matthews Arena should be a great chance to get to see some of the best
of  women's ice hockey.  In addition to Providence College, University of
New Hampshire and Northeastern University, the fourth team will be
Concordia from Montreal.  Canadian university women's teams currently can
play any student for as many years as they are in school.  The result is
you have a super team composed of some former ECAC's standouts.  Beth
Beagan (PC92,TUSAW90,92,94), Karyn Bye (UNH93, TUSAW92,94), Cammi Granato
(PC93, TUSAW90,92,94) and Michelle Johansson (PC93) I have heard are
currently playing for Concordia.  Team Canada Women 1994 head coach Les
Lawton is their coach.  I am looking forward to some great hockey!
