Hey, that's not even the worst. There are Merrimack grads who are currently
professors at Merrimack who don't pronounce the name correctly. Their
excuse is that the Merry Mack pronunciation is a holdover from an affected
tradition from the late 60s and early 70s. I don't know if that is true,
but it might explain why some current graduates are a bit confused about
the correct pronunciation.
