A funny situation has developed recently as it is not uncommon for players
on losing teams to be named MVPs of hockty tounaments. Scott Caman in the
1992 Beanpo come to mind.

Dwayne Roloson was a good choice for HE MVP, but I wonder the following:

1. His team lost the title, right?
2. He had all those saves because his defense is sub-par, giving him many
more opportunities to shine for post-game awards.

It just seems that the NVP should have been from the team that won it. Maybe
that didn't happen b/c BU lacked a single star.... both goalies played great,
no one player notched a slew of goals, etc. It was an evenly balanced seriesd
across the board.

SO why not give it then to the entire team or the coach or something?

I don't know, this may just be babbling nonsense and sorry about the typos.
