The RPI Engineers defeated the Colgate Red Raiders 4-2 at Colgate tonight

the scoring

  RPI 1 - 3 - 0 :4
Colgate 1 - 1 - 0 :2

RPI scored 2 short-handed goals and held Colgate to 0 for 9 on
the power-play in an impressive effort short-handed. The game
sounded ugly but RPI managed to hold on for the win. RPI was without
Tim Regan who was in Boston for a funeral and without Mike Rolanti
who was out following a game misconduct against U-M-Lowell. Tomorrow
night the Engineers face the Cornell Big Red in Lynah who are coming
off an embarassing 6-2 loss to Union.
