Frankly- college hockey is not professional hockey (probably of the major D1
sports along with baseball) not a feeder system for the NHL- look at the
stats-
 
now enforcement of the rules and an emphasis on sportsmanship and self
control from the Mite level would be step #1
 
block someone in football and the player blocked sees no need to kick or
strike the player blocking him- in hockey a clean check often results in
stick work- we need more Gretzky and less Domi- a beautiful fast paced game
with plenty of physical play need not be ruined by clutching grabbing and
incredible displays of infantile (and often sociopathic) behavior-
