It was several seasons ago, when we played Northeastern that after they
scored, from directly behind their bench came flying the biggest fish! It was
at least two feet long. We heard that one of the N'eastern players' family was
the guilty party. However, it happened so quickly that no one was escorted
 out.

I have also been to Grand Forks, ND a few times to see the Gophers play the
Sioux and have witnessed the poor dead prairie dogs hit the ice after the
Sioux scored. However, I never remember them getting a bench minor for it. And
we yelled for one in the Minnesota section!! The throwing of sieves is much
more tolerable and funny. Speaking of "Sieves" how do the people in Wisconsin
feel about other teams adopting their "SIEVE!" cheer? I hate it when our crowd
does it unless we are playing IN DANE COUNTY!!

For anyone at Boston College: Do they play the Canadian anthem along with the
Star Spangled Banner at your home games? You are the only other all American
team that I am aware of. Minnesota has a great tradition of having only
American players on it's teams and usually most of them are from Minnesota. As
my good buddy Erik has already stated: we only play our National Anthem unless
we are playing a team such as the Soviet National or Team Canada, when we
would play their national anthem also as a gesture of respect.
