I saw Lowell in this game and I was impressed with some of the rookies'
performances.

However, since Crowder recruited these players before he left for
greener pastures, what's going to happen in future years? With a coach
that has proven nothing yet and the worst rink in Hockey East (and
possibly the worsest in all of college hockey), can Lowell do well in the
recruiting game in the future?

Lowell's freshmen once again come through.

Rookie sensation Greg Koehler scored with
about :40 left in overtime to give Lowell
the come from behind victory. Lowell had
tied the game around the 19:00 mark of the
third, about 5 seconds after they had
pulled their goalie Marty Fillion. Lowell
freshman Chris Bell had two goals on the
evening. St. Lawrence's Clint Owen didn't
play (or dress).

Full game recap tomorrow.
