However, those PSAs who have played major junior can petition for and
receive their eligibility from the NCAA.  Rule states you must sit out one
year plus the number of games you played in major junior.
 
Those PSAs who were compensated for playing major junior may not have their
petition approved, however, since it would be considered playing
professional hockey.
