Do you mean that a player coming out of the box does not have to touch
inside the red line to be onsides after a penalty expires?
I noticed in Friday nights RPI-Clarkson game, that a Rensselaer player
came straight out of the box (without touching inside the red line), took
a pass and skated in unopposed. I thought the play was off sides. Was
this a recent change?
