I have to apologize to the list, and Bob Norton for any mis-understanding in
regards to my prior post. I by no means meant any personal attack at Mr.
Norton. Mr. Treadwell's reply spoke to a few lines in my post which, by
themselves, could be taken wrongly.

My entire post was to reflect my annoyance with ESPN and their coverage of
the Final. I do not question, in any way, Bob Norton's knowledge of the game
of hockey, or what he has done for it. Nor do I question his integrity. In
fact, I had never heard of him before. Being from the west, and in a city
w/o a decent cable company, I am unable to see any games from the east,
and/or their announcers. So I am unfamiliar with his work. My line about
subscribing to the list was only a tongue in cheek appreciation of the
list, and the knowledge and entertainment it provides. Nothing more. I am
very fond of this list, and try to promote it every chance I get.

I simply was not pleased with the biases showed by ESPN's color commentator.
(A fact even Mr. Treadwell concurred with in his reply) But I don't hold
Bob Norton's intelligence or character in question. That is why I didn't
mention him by name. I still think the coverage was lacking in many ways,
and having a more un-biased color commentator for a national championship
game would be nice in the future.

I always respect the opinions of the members of this list, and I respect Mr.
Treadwell's opinion too, without question. However, as the list
administrator, I feel the response was a little heavy handed. My apologies
again to Bob Norton, and to everyone on the list. Thank You.

Yours,

Terry E. Tuschen Jr.
