Gee, I don't know...I was pretty excited as seeing a blow out of the Lakers.
Such a rare event. I was thrilled at the 3 quick goals in the third period to
put the game away.

BTW, does anyone else think that the Boston Bruins uniforms now look a lot
like the Lakers? If they were trying to make Blaine Lacher feel at home, I
guess it didn't work very well, did it?

Great game by these guys. Michigan had a lot of success with the
cycle-scrum-stuff-it-in approach. Nice to see a "finesse" team mucking for
goals.

I was impressed that Pio was not afraid to call penalty after penalty against
the Lakers, though it got to a point where you knew the next time a Laker
flopped, his arm would go up. Sure enough, it happened, though I don't
remember the players involved. The couple dressed in Laker garb a few seats a
way from me starting laughing at the call, saying something like "Oh my gawd,
what a dive." In Pio's defense, I'm sure the play looked much worse from his
vantage point behind the play, than mine with the players coming toward me at
the end of the rink.

With the outcome of the game no longer in doubt, the "OVER-RATED" chant began
echoing through Yost. After backup goaler Jason Carter came in to mop up, the
chant changed to "CASTER-RATED!"

After Caster was scored upon, the "GOALIE, SIEVE, SIEVE" chant was heard, with
the Yost faithful pointing to Turco, then Caster, then Kulick on the bench.
