BEAVERS CLINCH TIE; REST OF LEAGUE FIGHTS FOR PLAYOFF POSITIONING

LAST WEEK: Bemidji State clinched at least a tie for the regular season
with a convincing sweep of St. Scholastica while the next four teams in
the standings are separated by four points as the NCHA heads to its final
two weeks of the regular season.

THIS WEEK: Four of the top five teams face off against one another with
crucial points on the line all around. League leader Bemidji State can
clinch the regular season crown as they host second place UW-Superior
while UW-River Falls hosts UW-Stevens Point with just one point
separating the teams. Also, third place UW-Eau Claire travels to St.
Scholastica and Lake Forest and St. Norbert, also separated by just a
point, battle it out at LFC.

first period advantage and then, after a scoreless second period, made it
5-0 in the third period on scores from Robb Harrell and Russ Johnson
before LFC's Jim Drury scored at 18:47 of the third for the final score.
