Northeastern has not changed their nickname.  They are still the Northeastern
Huskies.  Northeastern is located on Huntington Ave. in Boston, so many people
affectionately refer to them as the "Huntington Hounds".  NESN's Bob Kurtz has
picked up on this and almost never calls them the Huskies, insisting instead
on the Huntington Hounds.
 
Personally I hate the nickname!  I think it's a silly.  They are the Huskies,
so why not just call them the Huskies.
