During last night's Drexel-Maine basketball
game, there was a quickie graphic on all of
Maine's, um, athletic eccentricities this year.
 
The announcer actually got off the funniest
commentary without even trying -- he paused in
the middle of reading the list, not realizing that
there was a whole second page!
 
Anyway, the guy actually knew (had been
prompted, whatever) that Maine was in Hockey
East, that they'd been voted out of the tourny by
the conference, but then won the injunction for
reinstatement, and that they'd play BU.
 
Considering the Real Media usually only pauses
over hockey long enough to get their facts
wrong, you could say this was a step forward for
the game.
