actually, this could be a blessing in disguise for the Terriers.  as a BU
fan, I was dreading the thought of going into the semis without one of our
top scorers (Pandolfo) & 2 defensemen (O'Sullivan & Wood), especially with
the thought of Northeastern dying to rip us apart after what we've done to
them in the past month.  now, we can get by without them in the first game
of a best-of-three series.  and don't underestimate whoever replaces Pandolfo
for the game, whether it's Pierce or Jenkins.
 
i have to agree with recent sentiment that it's best for BU to have the chance
to beat Maine on the ice, and if they can't then they don't deserve their
lofty status.  also, i agree with the person from Lowell in that without
Kariya, I'd have to put my $$$ on Lowell, N'Eastern, UNH, & maybe even BC
(ouch, that hurt) over Maine.  oh well, we'll see.  please forward Kariya
rumors ASAP!
