Today's Schenectady Gazette has reported that Union College center
Ryan Alaspa has left school for personal family reasons.  As a
freshman last season, Alaspa led the team in assists with 13 and was
second in points with 17.  He can return to the team when he returns
to school, which he may do in January.
 
Former Union forward Kevin Darby is playing with the Fredericton
Canadiens of the AHL.  Darby had 4 goals and 3 assists in 24 games
last season for the Dutchmen.
