Yes, to my knowledge (being a Syracuse, NY area native), Colgate is the home
team, but unlike other home teams, they don't set things up so that they can
win easily (four years now since they won the SIT, losing in 1987 and 1989
to Clarkson in the championship, to Bowling Green (?) in the '88 finals,
and not even getting past Lowell in '90). Clarkson shows up every other year,
alternating with the Dexter Classic. Next year's field: Colgate, Clarkson,
Army, and Ohio State (anyone want to predict who will be in the finals? :^)

When Colgate and Clarkson played in '87, they went into the fourth 10-minute
OT to decide the game (Clarkson 7, Colgate 6). Back then, all NCAA overtimes
were 10-minutes. The rule was changed last season (though God knows why).

Clarkson Golden Knights...still undefeated at Walker Arena (7-0-1).
Next Game: St. Lawrence at Clarkson, Sat. Jan. 19, 7:30 PM, Waker Arena
(*)())@#$^! editor! That should be "Walker" not "Waker".)
