St. Lawrence defeats Quinnipiac, 5-3.  The same two teams play tomorrow night.  If SLU wins then they advance to Albany and the tourney.  If Quinnipiac wins then the two teams play again on Sunday.

At 16:18 of the third period Brock McBride was penalized for Boarding (5 min. plus game misconduct).  The Qunnipiac player, Brett Dickinson,  was down a long time and then taken off on a stretcher and backboard.  The report after the game was that he was moving and expected to be OK.

Quinnipiac pulled their goalie when the play started after the injury and played 2 men up until about 30 second remained and they took a penalty.  The puck didn't get out the Bobcats' end so they couldn't get the goalie out again.
